About us
– Understanding behaviour is one thing. Changing behaviour requires more.
Behaviour in Mind is founded on a deeply rooted conviction: everyone wants to be understood — by others and by themselves. In practice, that is anything but self‑evident. Understanding requires attention, effort and the willingness to look beyond the first story someone tells.
Especially when safety, care or societal tension is at stake, analysing behaviour well is not a luxury but a necessity.
The target group
Behaviour in Mind is for anyone who works with people and has an interest in behaviour — both the behaviour of others and their own. However, the primary area of expertise lies within the care and safety domains.
From intake conversations with care professionals to administrative and political decision‑making, and from everyday interactions to high‑stakes safety and crisis situations — there is always one common factor: we work with people in environments where multiple perspectives and emotions are constantly present, and where our choices directly influence their care, wellbeing, trust and safety.
To do this well, we must be able to:
– Gather accurate information under pressure
– Interpret behaviour with sometimes limited context
– Act from multiple perspectives and interests
The power of science and practice
Behaviour in Mind operates at the intersection of behavioural science and the care and safety domains. With attention to personal dynamics, communication, (political) sensitivity and decision‑making in complex contexts.
Our interventions and training programmes are designed for situations where interests collide, pressure is high and decisions have real impact — on individuals, teams and society.

Mission
Behaviour in Mind strengthens professionals in care and safety by bringing behavioural analysis back to its human and scientifically grounded core. We help slow down when needed, accelerate when the situation requires it, and always look closely at what behaviour truly reveals. In doing so, we support professionals to make sharp, careful and human‑centred decisions and interventions under all circumstances — including in urgent or high‑pressure cases.
Vision
We believe that real insight emerges when professionals look beyond assumptions, reflexes and intuition alone. In a complex world where situations sometimes demand immediate action, Behaviour in Mind stands for a combination of science, professional sharpness and personal commitment. For us, behavioural analysis is not a trick but a responsibility: a methodical, evidence‑based way to advise, decide and act with integrity — both in calm situations and in moments of urgency.
The Founder – Liz Németh
Behaviour in Mind was founded by Liz Németh. She is academically trained and has a strong practical foundation in behavioural analysis and social safety/security.
She obtained her MSc in Communication, Behaviour & Credibility Analysis with distinction. In addition, she completed a degree in Integral Safety Studies, specialising in Political Science within the safety domain.
Alongside her role as trainer and educator, she works actively within the care and safety field — including in process coordination and as a policy advisor on social safety and care & safety. This means she is well‑versed in working within politically and socially sensitive contexts.
This combination is intentional: by remaining active in the field, Behaviour in Mind stays closely connected to current developments, real‑world dilemmas and the reality of working under pressure. These experiences directly inform the training programmes and advisory work.
